The date math

Items bought from Apple (online or at an Apple Store) (14 days): Nov 27 + 14 days: 3 days gets you to Nov 30, 11 more days = Dec 11, 2026. Cyber Monday: Nov 30 + 14 days: 14 days into December = Dec 14, 2026.

How we count: the day after the purchase (or delivery) is day 1, so we add the number of days to the date. If a store counts the purchase day itself as day 1, the deadline is one day earlier. Aim to return a day early, and go by the date on your receipt or order page.

Traps to watch

Returning an iPhone or iPad doesn't automatically cancel your wireless service. You're responsible for the carrier agreement and any fees.
If security features were turned on and the person returning the device can't turn them off, Apple may refuse the return.
Returns with a gift receipt get an Apple Gift Card, not a refund. Cash refunds over $750 are mailed as a check.
Everything has to come back with all its cords, adapters and documentation.
