Traps to watch

Large items delivered by Kohl's Threshold freight service can't go back to a store. You arrange a pickup, and there's a 15% restocking fee unless the item is defective.
Kohl's Cash: if a return drops your purchase below the amount that earned Kohl's Cash, the unused Kohl's Cash is voided. If you've already spent it, the unearned amount is taken out of your refund.
No receipt and no lookup? You get Kohl's Merchandise Credit at the lowest discounted sale price from the last 13 weeks, and you may need photo ID.
Items bought in a store can only be returned in a store. You pay return postage on mailed returns.

Price drops after Black Friday

Price adjustments: if the price drops within two weeks and you have the original dated receipt, Kohl's will refund the difference.
