Crate & Barrel takes back eligible items within 30 days of receipt with proof of purchase, and extends 2026 holiday purchases (Oct 15–Dec 25) to Jan 31, 2027, except furniture.

Receipt / no-receipt

Proof of purchase is required: original or gift receipt, eReceipt, order confirmation, packing slip, order number or Gift Registry number. No returns or exchanges without proof of purchase. Return to the brand where you bought it (Crate & Barrel, CB2, Hudson|Grace).

Opened / used items

Items must be new and unused/resalable. Items used or damaged through normal wear and tear are not returnable.

Exceptions

Holiday 2026: eligible items bought 10/15/26–12/25/26 can be returned through Jan 31, 2027 (furniture excluded)
Gift Registry purchases: through 90 days from the event date (furniture excluded)
Not returnable: personalized items, custom/made-to-order furniture, NFL items, final sale, floor samples, live botanicals, cut fabric yardage
Wallpaper: unused, unopened rolls only
Furniture and rugs: contact the store of purchase to arrange a return
Shipping charges are not refunded; you pay return shipping

Refund method

Original payment with proof of purchase (in-store cash refunds over $100 by mailed check). Gift receipt or gift packing slip: merchandise credit. Registry number without proof: merchandise credit at current price. Mail refunds post 7–10 business days after receipt.

Holiday extensions

Eligible items purchased 10/15/26 through 12/25/26 can be returned up to January 31, 2027, excluding furniture.
