Standard return window

60 days from when you receive it, for almost any physical product bought online from Microsoft Store, in like-new condition and original packaging

Receipt / no-receipt

Start from Order history in your Microsoft account (a “Request a return” button shows eligibility); print the prepaid label. Guest orders can be returned through guest order lookup.

Opened / used items

Like-new condition in original packaging with all parts, components, manuals and documentation. Items in a bundle must be returned together.

Holiday 2026: eligible physical products bought Oct 1–Dec 2, 2026 can be returned through Jan 31, 2027
Excluded from 60-day and holiday returns: ROG Xbox Ally, ROG Xbox Ally X, Surface Hub, HoloLens, Windows DevKit
Limit of five product returns per eligible order
Digital goods (apps, games, add-ons, subscriptions, movies, books) not returnable unless the law requires
