Amazon return FAQs
How long do Amazon returns take?
Amazon says it can take up to 30 days to receive and process a return. After a refund is issued, credit cards often post in 3–5 business days; gift card balance can be much faster.
Can I return opened items to Amazon?
Items generally need to be in original or unused condition. Returning damaged, used, or incomplete items can trigger damage or restocking fees, and some product types (e.g., opened software/games/collectibles) may have 100% restocking fees.
